Course Description

This half day course does not go into depth about the new appraisal framework, however it helps you facilitate the right environment for having a quality conversation during an appraisal with your staff, in order for them to feel more supported and you as an appraiser to understand what development your staff members need.

By the end of this course you will have the opportunity to:

• Understand the appraisal process
• Familiarise yourself with the Contribution Conversation framework
• Identify the relevant skills needed to perform an effective appraisal
• Use SMART objectives for Personal Development Plans (PDP)
