Core Management Programme

Course Description

This two day programme is designed to introduce managers to the core processes, policies, and systems which will help them to effectively manage their teams within the organisation.  This will include Rostering and Workforce systems, Recruitment, LIGHT, Finance, Procurement, HR, and Learning and Development.  Sessions are delivered by subject matter experts from each department.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this course you will have the opportunity to:

  • Reflect on the three key learning points from each subject area and consider how to apply these back in the workplace
  • Meet new and existing managers from across the organisation and discuss best practice
  • Gain an understanding of the systems and processes required to fulfil your management role

Intended Audience

This course is for all managers and aspiring managers withinLUHFT and forms part of Pathways 2, 3, and 4. To access the pathways please have a development conversation with your manager before completing the declaration link in each of the pathway documentation.

How to book
